报告人简介:
Lei Zhang (M’04, SM’14) received the B.Sc. degree in 1995 from Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Shenyang, P.R. China, the M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Control Theory and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, P.R. China, respectively in 1998 and 2001. From 2001 to 2002, he was a research associate in the Dept. of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. From Jan. 2003 to Jan. 2006 he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Canada. In 2006, he joined the Dept. of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as an Assistant Professor. Since Sept. 2010, he has been an Associate Professor in the same department. His research interests include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image and Video Processing, and Biometrics, etc. Dr. Zhang has published more than 200 papers in those areas. By 2015, his publications have been cited more than 12,000 times in literature. Dr. Zhang is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, IEEE Trans. on CSVT and Image and Vision Computing. Daniel Xiapu Luo received his B.S. in Communication Engineering and M.S. in Communications and Information Systems from Wuhan University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and then spent two years at the Georgia Tech Information Security Center as a post-doctoral research fellow. He is currently a research assistant professor at Department of Computing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
His current research interests include Smartphone security and privacy, Network and System Security, Internet Measurement, Cloud Computing, and Mobile Networks. He and his group members built practical systems, published academic papers in well-known venues, such as NDSS, USENIX ATC, ACM CoNEXT, ACM IMC, TIFS, TDSC, JSAC, etc. More information about him can be found at http://www4.comp.polyu.edu.hk/~csxluo/
Man Ho Allen Au received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Department of Information Engineering, Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2003 and 05 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2009. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Dept. of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before moving to Hong Kong in July 2014, he has been a lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering, University of Wollongong, Australia.
Dr. Au’s research interests include Information Security and Privacy, Applied Cryptography, Accountable Anonymity and Cloud Computing. He has published over 80 papers in those areas in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, ACM Transaction on Information and System Security and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and international conferences including the Network and Distributed System Security Symposium (NDSS) and the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS).
By 2015, he has served as a program committee member in over 25 international conferences/workshops. He is also a program committee co-chair of the 8th International Conference on Network and System Security and the 9th International Conference on Provable Security. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Information Security and Applications, Elsevier. He has served as a guest editor for various journals including Future Generation Computer Systems, Elsevier and Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, Wiley.
